The aerosol container is a sophisticated, high-technology package in which a product - household cleaners, disinfectant, deodorant, insect repellent, paint and hundreds of others - is dispensed under pressure to create a spray or foam. Aerosols are termed also pressurized package. Aerosol product: A self-dispensing pressurized packaging form, consisting of a metal, glass or plastic container with a permanently attached continuous or metering valve, and designed to dispense products as sprays, streams, gels, foams, lotions or gases.
